"WORK IS LOVE MADE VISIBLE" Khalil Gibran
About Isa.

“With passion and commitment, you can achieve anything your heart desires”
– Isabelle Ebert
Isabelle’s career in the beauty industry officially began 13 years ago, but her love of all things hair and beauty goes back much further than that. From a childhood spent styling and restyling every
doll she owned, to being the go-to style-girl for all her teenage friends, Isabelle’s dream has always been to help others feel beautiful.

Growing up in Freiburg Germany, Isabelle’s first step was to undertake her hairdressing
apprenticeship at the Francek Salon, renowned for their work at the Burda Fashion Week and the annual Miss Germany competition. Isabelle loved every minute of working at , and by the end of her apprenticeship was honoured with the title of Best Junior Stylist of the Year.

A move to Berlin saw Isabelle further expand her skillset by training as a Make-up Artist and Wig Technician. These new skills alongside her existing hairdressing talent, saw her land the position of Wig technician and make up artist at the “Friedrichstadt Palace”, the biggest theatre stage in the world. Here, Isabelle was tasked with the responsibility of styling the Principal Performers and creating hair and makeup looks for upcoming shows.

At 24, Isabelle decided she wanted to see more of the world and so packed her bags and moved to Sydney, where she joined the masters of Balayage and French chic, Frank Provost, as a Master
Stylist. In 2015 Isabelle won the Frank Provost Artistic Award and was nominated with her team for the AHFA Awards.

Today, Isabelle is focusing her attention on her freelance career, where her fluency in fashion, editorial, bridal and event styling can really shine. She has come back to her theatre roots, working
behind the scenes at the Sydney Opera House and has also added another feather to her cap by training in Seamless1 Hair Extensions. Always keen to share her passion and knowledge, Isabelle is excited to have joined the Joico Australia and New Zealand family as a Guest Artist in 2020, where she will teach hair upstyling to the next generation of aspiring hairstylists.
